About Me

A large body of my work has been through commissions, which I especially enjoy as it allows me to engage with people who bring ideas and a vision of the outcome. If you have ideas for a piece of art, and are interested in discussing, please do get in touch.

Walking on Sunshine

«Ruby is a very talented and creative artist. Every week I was looking forward to spend time with her in her studio, where she created a magical atmosphere through her incredible experiences and fun personality. Introducing different art techniques, she helped me learn and grow as an artist.

This photo is an example of how you can recreate a photo with an abstract vision.»

The girl with the Ruby earring

Ruby was very personal with this portrait. She wanted to focus on my personality and the places that have influenced me through my life… on the portrait you can observe a little piece of all the places I have lived in, which are Bulgaria, Norway, Denmark, UK and Australia. The Ruby on my ear is her name and the signature for this painting. Her work is full of details that imprint your heart.

My daughter

«My mama surprised me with this painting on my 18th birthday. In the painting I am sat at our table in our apartment in Copenhagen, which my mama would decorate differently for each of our birthdays. This painting reminds me of our life in Copenhagen, and has so many nice memories attached to it. In the corner of the painting, my mama attached Psalm 139, which is a chapter about love and prayer and is a Psalm I keep close to my heart. This portrait is a very special gift to me and I will always treasure it».

No name, just memories

«I miss our daily walks or runs from our house to the resund through Charlottenlund park. Alone or with loved ones appreciating the smell of the forest after the rain, the early morning mist, the red skies at sunset, the wind blowing in the trees or the clouds dancing with the wind. The birds singing, the dogs barking, small branches cracking under our footsteps.. The white palace reveals its presence without being ostentatious. All with a sense of belonging and peace. This is muy Denmark and Ruby captured it perfectly.
